Christopher Nolan is a director, writer and producer of motion pictures for the screen. Nolan was born in London but holds both US and UK Citizenship. He was educated at boarding school, Haileybury College in Hertfordshire. Nolan has received both Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for writing and best screenplay. Nolan has found worldwide fame following his success in direction for The Dark Knight where for the first time in feature filmmaking, IMAX cameras were used for major action sequences.
