Denholm Elliot was an Oscar nominated, BAFTA award winning actor for stage, television and screen who lived in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The much loved character actor's career spanned nearly forty years. Elliot's notable performances were for Trading Places, A Private Function and A Room with a View. He is more widely know for his performance as Dr. Marcus Brody in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
