Emma Thompson is a quintessentially British and Oscar winning actress who was born into a family of actors. Thompson was educated at Cambridge University where she studied English Literature. It was the early 90s in which Thompson received trans-Atlantic honors in the form of an Oscar and BAFTA award for best actress in Howards End. Since then, Thompson has enjoyed many esteemed roles including those in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Sense and Sensibility.
