Garth Jennings is a director of motion pictures for the screen. Jennings was born and grew up in Epping,Essex. Jennings first interest in filmmaking came around when his father was given a video camera which Jennings used to make his own version of Rambow in Epping Forest! Jennings, in partnership with producer Nick Goldsmith, set up their own production company Hammer and Tongs which made a succession of music videos. 2005 saw their film debut on $60 million The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Jennings next went onto writing and directing Son of Rambow which premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.
