Jon Amiel is an English director of motion pictures for the screen and for television. Born in London, Amiel went onto major in English literature at Cambridge University and it is here where Amiel got involved with local theatre.
Amiel was nominated for a BAFTA TV award in 1987 for his work on the drama series The Singing Detective. Amiel is perhaps best known for his directorial credits on Copycat, Entrapment and The Core.
