Richard Curtis CBE is a BATFA, Emmy award winning and Oscar nominated English screenwriter. Curtis lives in Notting Hill, London, and has a country house in Walberswick in Suffolk. Curtis is primarily known for his hit romantic comedy films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Bridget Jones's Diary, Notting Hill and Love Actually, as well as hit sitcoms such as Blackadder and The Vicar of Dibley. Curtis is also the founder of Comic Relief and has been awarded the M.B.E in 1994 and C.B.E in the 2000 Queen's Millennium Honors List for his services to television and film comedy and to Comic Relief.
