Action Underwater Studios is a unique underwater facility designed for all types of surface and underwater filming. The unique design features a removable roof transforming it from an interior to an exterior facility. Whilst Action Underwater Studios is not generally open to the public, from time to time there are unique events hosted at the site specific for qualified divers. The heated pool is also available for hire to clubs and divers offering ideal diving facilities which cannot normally be replicated at a normal swimming pool such as a 6 metre depth for buoyancy skills , rescue and CESA's; concrete construction allowing students to ditch weight belts; a platform (1.5 metres) for learning basic skills; viewing windows for non divers; ability to create waves; and the capability of darkening the pool to simulate night dives.
