The Ashridge Management College is situated in over 150 acres of woodland, just north of Berkhamsted on the beautiful Ashridge Estate owned by the National Trust. They run a large range of training, seminars and conferences as well as providing bespoke training and consultancy but are not open to the public although the buildings can be viewed from the outside. Ashridge began as a monastic order in 1283 and returned to education in the twentieth century. The current building dates from the early 18th century and was designed by the architect James Wyatt.
