Bintry Mill (not open to public) and trout fishery

Printer friendly version >

Bintry Mill is privately owned so not easily accessible. Set in a valley in the heart of unspoilt countryside one mile from Bintree village, the grounds have two miles of lightly-fished brown trout river. Stocks of wild, sustaining fish are complimented by sympathetic stocking. If you want a trout fishing experience with stalking fish, watching them rise and sight fishing in the shallower runs and pools this is ideal. Terry Lawton, secretary of The Bintry Mill Trout Fishery is the guide. Tel/fax: 01603-872393; Mobile: 07881-543678; E-mail: terry@terrylawton.co.uk. Bintree village has a pretty church, St Swithin, with a 14th century tower and beautiful stained glass window.
