The village of Ringstead is located inland from Hunstanton and the picturesque north Norfolk coastline with its miles of sandy beaches and cliffs. Ringstead is surrounded by rolling hills and lies on the ancient Peddars Way, a long distance footpath. There are plenty of nearby reserves for walkers and bird watching with both resident and migratory species present, including Ringstead Downs an 11 hectare reserve of chalk landscape with wonderful views. The village has a pub and a village shop; it is also close to royal estate of Sandringham.
