This used to be the old Palace cinema on Guildhall Street. The interior was used in ‘The Big Parade’ 1970 and ‘A Soldier’s Farewell’ 1972. Much of the town and surrounding area was using for filming 'Dad's Army' and a trail can be downloaded from www.explorethetford.co.uk.
