Brook Meadow, Borehamwood

Brook Meadow is a recreational park area in Borehamwood which includes a children's play area, basketball court, football goal, brook along with planting, bins and seating, two football pitches, a changing Pavilion, a picnic area and open grassland. Borehamwood is a large town with modern facilities. Given its association with film, it has acquired the nickname, "British Hollywood". Many well-known were based at the former Associated British Studios (partly demolished in the 1980s). The area between the two was redeveloped to form the now Elstree Film Studios. The Elstree Film and Television Heritage Group are dedicated to recording, preserving and sharing the town’s legacy of film and television.
