Bulbourne Workshops is located on the Grand Union Canal near Tring and was one of the former canal buildings. For over 100 years (until 2004), these workshops built lock gates for the canals in the southern region. There is a fine tower which forms part of the Workshops which can be seen from the walkway along the canal. Nearby are the Tring Reservoirs popular with walkers and wildlife. Bulbourne Workshops are privately owned and not open to the public.
