The building, which is now home to The Slug and Lettuce, was a former art gallery on Victoria Street opposite the Maltings shopping arcade and after that it became the Casa bar. The Slug and Lettuce is open for breakfast anytime from 10am, lunch or evening meal. There is a comfortable bar, a raised dining area and a plasma screen for sport events. There is also a terrace to watch the sun go down complete with heaters for cooler evenings.
