A very small but picturesque village with many thatched cottages, an interesting church and 1930s village hall which was used for filming Dad's Army. The hall is not open to the public except for bookings or events but can be viewed from the outside. Nearby Attleborough is also worth a visit. Once famous for its cider works (depicted on the town sign) and for producing turkeys, which used to make the journey to the London markets on foot, there is a small shopping centre set around an attractive green. Thursday is Attleborough's market day.
