A beautiful 15th century church just off the Market Place with a magnificent double hammerbeam roof with rows of angels. The church is also linked with the legend of the famous Swaffham Peddlar who is depicted on the town sign. Open summer 9am - 4pm and winter 9.30am -2.30pm. Peter Kingdom was filmed in the porch of the church for the trailers for the Kingdom series and the inside of the church was used for the baptism scene of Simon Kingdom's son Daniel. The real vicar was filmed carrying out the TV christening with the real choir in the background!
