Colney Heath Village Hall

Printer friendly version >

Colney Heath is a large village between St Albans and Hatfield. There are four coal posts in Colney Heath suggesting that this was once a busy trade route to London. The posts, which are more than 130 years old, are at the road junction, opposite the Cock pub, near Coursers Farm and on the heath by the Colney River. Colney Heath is also home to the pretty church of St Marks, the village hall which played host to a film crew and a nature reserve, an important wetland area.
