Copped Hall is the burnt out shell of an old Georgian mansion but is now being restored. It is superbly sited on a ridge overlooking its landscaped parkland and has been confirmed as a site of ancient human habitation. The mansion is visible from the M25 which passes through a corner of the park. The gardens are open to visitors including a large rock garden and a 450 foot long herbaceous border. Parts of the mansion can also be visited including a vaulted kitchen, cellars and the stables.
