Eltisley is a beautiful village situated between Cambridge and St Neots in Cambridgeshire. Eltisley has a large village green with a thatched pavilion. The church stands immediately west of the green and several buildings from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries stand along its edge, suggesting that the green has been at the centre of the village for a long time. The Church has a unique dedication to St Pandionia and St John the Baptist. St Pandionia is believed to be a 9th century Scottish woman who founded a convent on the site.
