Great Dunham is a small village near Swaffham with a school that has been used in the TV series Kingdom and an interesting church, St Andrew’s. The church sits in a long, narrow graveyard. From the road it appears Saxon but the chancel and porch are 15th century and the central tower and nave are all pre-Conquest. The massive tower has steeply set arched windows. Nearby Echo Farm and Rookery Farm were also used as locations in Kingdom. Whilst both private, Rookery Farm is a working farm of 600 acres and offers holiday accommodation.
