There are over 15 miles of sandy beaches from Winterton-on-Sea to Hopton-on-Sea. It's all part of a great coastline offering a blend of wide sandy beaches, sand dunes and cliffs. The length of the beach at Great Yarmouth means there’s always a secluded spot. The focal points are the Great Yarmouth piers, both of which were built in the mid 1800s and now offer some of the best family entertainment on the Norfolk coast. From Great Yarmouth beach, visitors can take a boat trip to Scroby Sands and come face to face with the seals basking on the sand bank.
