Built in 1870, this magnificent former country residence of Sir William Gilbert is set in over 40 acres of beautiful gardens and woodlands. The Gilberts bought the property in 1890 and made a number of modifications to the house and gardens. Now designated as a building of special architectural and historical interest, Grim's Dyke Hotel has been carefully restored and converted into a hotel which is renowned for its special musical events, banqueting, conference and wedding facilities.
