Kentwell Hall

Printer friendly version >

Kentwell Hall is a stunning example of a moated Tudor manor crossed by a low bridge. Built in the early 16th century exterior of the Hall has changed little although it has benefited from renovation and refurbishment. The interior of Kentwell has a working Tudor kitchen and Hall with minstrels gallery. A variety of buildings flank the house, including a bakehouse, dairy, brewhouse, and a part timbered Moat House. There is a Tudor Rose maze and grounds feature box and yew topiary, a Camera Obscura, a walled garden laid out in 17th century style and enjoyable woodland walks.
