Kings Straithe Square is in the heart of the historic port of King’s Lynn which is steeped in history. The square is arguable one of the most picturesque parts of the town with the nearby Customs House and its close proximity to the river. King’s Lynn has retained its narrow Dickensian streets and handsome merchant houses. It is home to the only surviving Hanseatic warehouse in the UK, and The Walks, King’s Lynn’s impressive parkland, has a Victorian bandstand with regular performances. By the river visitors can take a ferry to the west bank with its views of the townscape.
