Printer friendly version >

Millbrook is one of Europe’s leading locations for the development and demonstration of every type of land vehicle. it is home to over 45 miles of tracks within the site’s 700 acres and a unique set of event venues. The site also boasts a range of industrial and unusual buildings from laboratories, petrol stations and offices to four striking event venues. This highly secure site is not open to the general public, so is ideal for undercover work and is within easy reach of both Birmingham and London.

Millbrook is close to the village of Lidlington which overlooks the Vale of Marston. Nearby Brogborough Lake formerly, a disused brickworks pit, has been transformed into a lake popular for windsurfing, whist another area has been reclaimed for as a nature reserve (Forest of Marston Vale) providing both woodland and wetland habitats. There is local speculation John Bunyan used the Greensand Ridge as the model for the "Delectable Mountains" in his novel, Pilgrim's Progress. Millbrook and Waveney Golf Clubs are nearby as are Woburn Abbey and Safari Park.
