Narborough Hall

Printer friendly version >

Set in eighteenth century parkland by the River Nar, Narborough Hall is surrounded by lakes, gardens and woods and dates back to the 16th century with additional wings added in the 18th century. There is also a Grade 1 listed park and a boathouse. The grounds are open on Wednesdays in the summer (April to September) and also Sundays in August when they hold an art exhibition. Visitors are free to explore the restored Victorian kitchen garden and the woodland walks - one of which leads through an ancient henge dating from c.3000 BC.
