Peckover House and Garden is a beautiful elegant Georgian town house with a wonderful walled garden located on North Brink in Wisbech. Built in 1722 it was formerly a Georgian merchant's house with many fine Victorian features, an orangery and summerhouses. There are celebrated rococo plaster, fine Georgian fire places, elaborate fine panelled rooms and wood carvings and a 17th-century thatched barn. The House was purchased by the Peckovers at the end of the 18th century and presented to the National Trust in 1948.
