The Plough is located on Tyttenhanger Green in Tyttenhanger near St Albans. There is outside seating and the pub is child-friendly. Near by is the beautiful Tyttenhanger Park mansion. Whilst it is not open to the public it is a wedding venue and has wedding fayres from time to time. The house is set in natural woodland with easy access to the M25. Also nearby is Tyttenhanger Gravel Pitts. The western end is largely for fishing and permits may be required for the carparks. The eastern end is however popular with birdwatchers, particularly wading birds. There is a marked network of footpaths but modifications are being made so visitors should check.
