Dunstable is a market town in Bedfordshire on the eastward tail spurs of the Chiltern Hills. The town stands at the crossroads of history with evidence of a Neolithic presence in the surrounding hills, Anglo Saxon influence in its name, and a rich Roman and medieval heritage. With the introduction of the Grove Theatre and the renovation of local pubs and amenities, Dunstable is enjoying a revival. Nearby attractions include Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable Downs and the Priory Church which played host to many royal events including the divorce between Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon.
