Printer friendly version >

The history of Queens' College has been rich and varied. Queens' sits astride the River Cam with its two halves joined across the river by the famous Mathematical Bridge or The Wooden Bridge. The College has some splendid architectural features including the dining hall. The hall has been used by Fellows and students for over 500 years and forms part of Old Court which reflects the plan of manor court houses of the 15th century. The interior of the hall is richly decorated and above the Tudor fireplace are tiles attributed to William Morris and his associates. Queens' College is open to the public.
