Rickmansworth School stands in 26 acres of woodland and is a Specialist Science and Arts College providing education to boys and girls aged 11 to 18; it is not open to the public. Visitors can visit the attractive market town of Rickmansworth with its fine conservation area, including St. Mary´s Church and its 17th century tower, and Basing House with its connections to William Penn, the famous Quaker statesmen and founder of the state of Pennsylvania. There is also a theatre (Watersmeet), shopping area, the Rickmansworth Aquadrome offering water-based activities and the famous Moor Park golf course which includes a spectacular mansion as the club house.
