Rushes was formerly located in Elstree & Borehamwood but is no longer in existence. Whilst not open to the public, Borehamwood is home to Elstree Film Studios with its long history of filmmaking. The town centre is modern, offering local shopping facilities and there are plenty of restaurants and pubs along with bowling at The Metropolis Centre. Walks and other sports can be enjoyed in the surrounding countryside and nearby Aldenham Country Park.
