St Albans Crown Court is located in Bricket Road and is fully operational. The court building is open weekdays 9.00am-5.00pm, but closed at weekends and bank holidays which is when the bulk of filming is done. The court is located close to the historic city centre with its magnificent cathedral, historic churches, museums, coaching inns and specialist as well as high street shopping. There is a regular market, two small shopping centres, plenty of places to stay and the city hosts numerous events and festivals throughout the year.
