The quaint church of St Mary is located on the northern side of the village of Bayford about three miles south of the historic market town Hertford. Bayford has previously won 'best kept village' awards and is well known for being a beautifully kept village. The popular Baker Arms serves home cooked foods and real ales, and the village holds a Garden Open Day every two years at which point many of the houses open their gardens to the public.
