Printer friendly version >

Strattons is a luxury boutique hotel. It is a small independent family run hotel and restaurant in a secluded location in the heart of the historic market town of Swaffham. It was once a favourite with the Nelson family and also home to Howard Carter who discovered Tutankhamen’s tomb. The hotel’s award-winning chic restaurant recently won the local paper’s ‘Best Norfolk Restaurant’ award and serves organic and locally sourced produce in an innovative modern English style. Stratton’s was also the first hotel in the UK to win the prestigious Queen’s Award for ‘Outstanding Environmental Performance’. The menu features cheeses from the British Isles complemented with wines from all over the world. Art, design, luxury and comfort feature strongly throughout the hotel and restaurant. Each of the rooms is individually designed in an eclectic, modern and contemporary way employing great originality.
