The Jolly Sailor can be found at Hythe Quay in Maldon overlooking the River Blackwater. This charming 17th Century Pub offers food, drink and accommodation as well as delightful views across this tidal estuary. Hythe Quay is also home to a number of traditional Thames Barges the views of which transport visitors back to a bygone age when these distinctive barges plied their trade regularly up and down the river; they are now available for hire for parties and outings.
