A large area of mature salt marsh lying inland from the dunes with large sand flats. The dunes cut through by several salt marsh creeks and whilst it is possible to access the area at low tide care must be taken to allow sufficient time to exit in the event the tide turns. The area is popular for birdlife and bird watchers. The nearby village of Warham is charming with its brick and flint cottages. There are two large medieval churches, a traditional pub with gas lighting, stone floors and an open fireplace and a B&B at the Old Post Office Cottage.
