Watford is Hertfordshire's largest town. It is a prosperous town with the town centre’s primary shopping area being the Harlequin Centre, a modern purpose-built indoor shopping mall with over 140 shops, restaurants and cafes. The Centre runs parallel to the High Street which traverses through the centre of the town. The High Street and The Parade are also a hives of activity with a range of shops. The area is particularly popular in the evening due to the high concentration of bars, clubs and restaurants. There is also the Jongleurs Comedy Club, The Palace Theatre and The Colosseum close by which put on a variety of productions, shows and entertainment.
