Wells-Next-The-Sea is a bustling unspoilt historic seaside town with a small harbour and harbour office. There are quaint narrow streets lined with traditional flint buildings as well as houses with Georgian elegance on the green (The Buttlands). The nearby sandy beach is accessible by car, on foot or via a little railway from the port and fringed with pine trees. From here there is a beautiful walk round to the flat expanse of sand that is Holkham Bay. The surrounding countryside is an area of outstanding natural beauty and provides plenty of opportunity for sightseeing, water sports, bird watching, country walks and family fun. The harbour office and a number of private properties have been used for filming.
