The house at Woodhall Park at Watton-at-Stone near Hertford and the 18th century stable block is not open to the public, but the gardens are from time to time. There is a mature 4-acre garden which was created out of the parkland in 1957, a courtyard, climbing and shrub roses, herbaceous and mixed borders, a kitchen garden and areas to sit and picnic with unspoilt views of the Hertfordshire countryside. There is also a grassland park with mature trees, including an ancient oak and hornbeam, a river and a lake.
