A Shot in the Dark
Printer friendly version >
The BAFTA-nominated A Shot in the Dark was directed by Blake Edwards and has the bumbling French detective Inspector Clouseau (Peter Sellers) investigating a case in which an attractive maid, Maria Gambrelli (Elke Sommer) seems likely to be the murderer. This film was the second in the Inspector Clouseau or Pink Panther series but production did not go smoothly with Sellers and Blake vowing not to work with each other again. Their differences fortunately were resolved.
