Locations used for this production:
-
Borehamwood >
This school in Borehamwood closed in 2001 so is not accessible. It has therefore not been possible to verify all the scenes shot there, although the market town of Borehamwood is close by as is Elstree Film Studios where the film was based, which can be seen from the road. It is possible that the scene where Cody has arrived at the London academy and sits down to lunch to be joined by Emily Sommers (Hannah Spearritt), a member of the orchestra who is not all she appears to be either. He tries to learn more from her about what has been going on at Kentworth only to receive a call from Derek. As a result Cody has to leave. Some of the following corridor scenes may also have been filmed at the school.

Knebworth House >
Opening scenes at the secret agent camp (Camp Woody) may have been filmed in the grounds of the Knebworth Estate and see the children learning the art of being a special agent. Another scene shows Cody doing his best to help Diaz escape not realising he is a rogue agent. Having been asked to go undercover, Cody poses as a student at an elite boarding school, Kentworth House (Knebworth House) where he has registered in the summer music program. Initial scenes show Cody being driven through the grounds by Kumar (Rod Silvers), his driver, and arriving at the house. He is met by his teacher Lady Josephine Kentworth (Anna Chancellor), her apparently senile butler Trival (David Kelly), who returns to Hertfordshire to appear in the movie 'Stardust', and his fellow students. The beauty of the exterior and interior rooms of Knebworth House forms a perfect backdrop to the scenes which follow and shows much of the splendour in terms of architecture, features and fixtures and fittings. As the story unfolds Cody's cover is blown, he is implanted with a mind device himself and wakes up back at Kentworth confused. At breakfast he finds it difficult to control his knife and fork with rather amusing consequences! Closing scenes which may have been shot in the grounds of Knebworth see Cody returning Camp Wood where he is collected by his parents at the end of the summer, who are none the wiser about his adventures. Cody's younger brother, Alex (Connor Widdows) does cause Cody some concerns when he tries to eat a few of his explosive Mentos!

Stansted Airport >
The scene showing the underground bunker where Cody meets with the CIA Director (Keith David) may have been shot airside at Stansted airport. It is here that Cody finds out what Diaz has done and is told of his forthcoming mission to London. The next scene sees Cody landing at the airport to be met by his handler, the not very effective, Derek (Anthony Anderson) and their driver, Kumar. Cody is unsurprisingly concerned.
