Written and directed by Kaizad Gustad, this Bollywood thriller begins one hundred years previously at the height of the British Raj when a beautiful young English girl, Beatrice (Katie McGuinnnes) promises a young Indian man called Vilas (Prashant Narayanan) an undying love which would defy both their worlds. The camera pans through time to the modern day and the urban slums of Mumbai and finds Beatrice attempting to track down the reincarnation of her lover. However, in this life Vilas is called Bombil; he is also a hit man! Bombil and Beatrice screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007 but was only released in India.
