Having rescued Jinx from a potentially cold, watery grave in Iceland, Bond and Jinx enter the Korean De-militarised zone. Both are assigned to infiltrate North Korea and stow away on Graves’ cargo plane. A climatic fight follows as the plane flies into the path of Icarus, an orbital mirror satellite that Graves has developed to harness the power of the sun. His intention being to clear the minefield through the Korean De-militarised zone to allow North Korean troops to invade South Korea and to prevent intervention from Western nations by using the satellite as a weapon of mass destruction. As the plane begins to disintegrate the pair make their escape in a light helicopter and come down over a North Korean rice paddy (North Norfolk) and subsequently fly across the rice fields. Meanwhile local farmers are surprised to find two new features in their fields, a pair of Lamborghini’s that have seemingly fallen from the sky. The set took two weeks to construct on Deepdale Farm after the production decided that the surrounding landscape was a perfect double for North Korea.
