Directed by Clive Donner this comedy drama is based on the book of the same name by Hunter Davies and follows the exploits of Jamie McGregor (Barry Evans) and filmed almost entirely on location in Stevenage during 1967; other locations were used nearby. The film’s title track was written and performed by the band, Traffic.
