Lovejoy is a popular television series based on the novels by John Grant (pen name Jonathan Gash) about an antiques dealer and con artist, Lovejoy (Ian McShane) who tries to use his skills to help the needy. Based in East Anglia, the production team used many locations in the area, particularly in Suffolk. The series ran from 1986-1994 and included two Christmas specials.
