Based on a story by the director, Henry Cole and adapted for the screen by Tim Sewell, this romantic mystery crime drama told the story of the wealthy and rather aristocratic Antonia Dyer (Elizabeth Hurley) who is addicted to class A drugs. Motorcycle messenger, Mike (C. Thomas Howell) delivers a package to her from Tony Vernon-Smith (Jeremy Brett) who allegedly can supply anything for the right price. Mike and Antonia become emotionally involved and he tries to help her overcome her addiction, but Antonia’s habit results in her being made a scapegoat for a crime.
