Directed by Paul Annett and written by Alan Seymour this three part mini-series first appeared on the screen in 1988. Starring Ian Ogilvy as Duncan Free, the story is about the sinister world of computer crime. Following the suspicious death of his partner, Free begins to do some investigating of his own with his partner’s widow, Tessa (Judy Bowker). As filming occurred during the storm of October 1987 Anglia Films donated £1,000 to the National Trust’s Tree Appeal.
