  • St Albans City Centre  >
St Albans city doubled for Norwich City. The scene where St Albans features is for a welcome-home event for a winning Norwich City football team. A Town Hall dressed in yellow and green, an open top double-decker plying its way up and down a one-way street and an enthusiastic crowd welcoming the victorious team home - all seemed a tad unusual for the local residents on their way to the early Sunday morning service at the Abbet. Recruiting the crowd hit a slight snag, as the filming took place on April Fool's Day, and extra advertising was required to convince the crowds it wasn't a joke.
