This drama romance directed by Simon Langton for ITV was created as a sequel to Rosamunde Pilcher’s ‘Coming Home’. Following the death of Colonel Carey-Lewis, his daughter, Loveday (Katie Ryder Richardson), inherits the house. Whilst trying to find resourceful ways to keep the estate going for her son, Nat (young Nat: Jake Gomme; older Nat: Josh Wynter), her marriage to Walter (Tristan Gemmill) deteriorates further. Further complications arise when Gus Cullendar (Philipp Moog), the love of her life returns. Judith (Lara-Joy Korner) on the other hand is not finding life very easy. Joanna Lumley played Diana Carey-Lewis, Robert Hardy played Viscount Berryann and Susan Hampshire played Miss Catto.
